Russ Poulin is the executive director for WCET – the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies, which has member institutions in every U.S. state and a few other countries. WCET also includes the State Authorization Network (focused on interstate distance education compliance) and Every Learner Everywhere (focused on the intersection of digital learning and equity). WCET is fortunate to have a talented team supporting effective practices and policies for the postsecondary use of digital learning. Russ is a sought-after expert and leader regarding federal and state policies and emerging policy uses of educational technologies. He was honored to have represented the distance education community on federal negotiated rulemaking committees and subcommittees. He has received recognition for his contributions from the Online Learning Consortium, the Presidents’ Forum, Excelsior College, and the National University Technology Network.
